Splodge Club Book a session
A small hand covered in blue paint held up over a table.
A table covered in bright pink, orange, blue and green paint swirls with a child's hand reaching in. Two plastic dinosaurs standing in piles of dyed green and yellow spaghetti.

Forty-five minutes of mess that does not end up on your kitchen floor

Paint with hands, flour with feet, spaghetti dyed four colours and a tray of cornflour slime that is somehow liquid and solid at once. For under-fives and whoever brings them. We mop.

Tiny splodgers

Crawlers to walkers. Everything on the floor is safe to taste, because it will be.

  • Tuesday and Friday, 09:30
  • £7 a child, grown-up free
A small girl in a pink apron looking down at her hands, covered in white paint.

Big splodgers

Two to five. Brushes, sponges, rollers, and one wall of paper they are allowed to ruin.

  • Wednesday and Saturday, 10:00
  • £8 a child
A toddler's paint-covered hands in blue, yellow and red pressed near a sheet of paper.

Birthday splodge

The whole hall for an hour, ten children, one tray each. You bring the cake; we bring the bin bags.

  • Saturday or Sunday afternoon
  • £120 for up to ten

What to bring

A grinning child with blue-painted hair and a face smeared in paint against a pink wall.

They go home clean. Mostly.

Before you come

A smiling little girl in a pink apron with floury hands standing at a small table.

Wear old clothes

We have aprons, but paint finds a way. Bare feet on the flour mat, so leave socks in the buggy. There is a warm shower tray by the door for the worst of it.

Two small hands smoothing white paint across paper on a wooden table.

Everything we use

Tell us about allergies when you book and we will swap the tray.

Plain flour · cornflour · rice · cooked pasta · oats · water · washable poster paint · food colouring · shaving foam (big splodgers only) · no nuts, no eggs, ever

A young boy at a white table painting carefully from a box of watercolours.

You stay in the room

This is not a drop-off. One grown-up per family on the mat, phones in the basket, and a cup of tea when it is over.

A child in a pink top painting with a sponge brush on a large sheet of paper.

Come and look first

Any Friday at half past ten you can stand at the door with a coffee and watch a session before you book one. Nobody will hand your child a paintbrush unless you say yes.
