Made in batches of sixty. When a batch is gone the page says so.

Small bottles and jars laid out on a dark surface with dried leaves.

Six things, made in one room, and none of them claim to change your life

A balm, an oil, a cleanser, a soap, a lip thing and one cream. That is the whole range and it has been for four years.

This batch

Three plain pots standing in a row.

Batch 41 — poured on 2 September, best before September next year.

A dropper bottle and a roller on a pale ground.

Batch 42 — the oil, poured on 9 September, forty bottles left.

The six

A small yellow jar on a plain ground.

Balm, 30ml

£14

Four ingredients. The one we would keep if we could only keep one.

A dark glass bottle standing against a bright ground.

Face oil, 30ml

£22

Three drops is enough; most people use six and then tell us it is greasy.

Several jars and tubes arranged on a pale surface.

Cleanser, 100ml

£16

Takes make-up off with a cloth and warm water, and nothing else.

A sprig laid on a folded cloth beside a jar.

Soap, 110g

£7

Cut from a block we pour four times a year. Every bar is a different shape.

What is not in them

No fragrance that is not a plant, nothing that needs a preservative we cannot spell, and no claim we have not tested on ourselves for at least a year. That is not a philosophy, it is what one room and two people can actually do well.

Tissue paper folded around something pale. Shadows of leaves falling across a white surface.

How to use them

Someone holding half an avocado beside their face.

Four steps, twice a day, and the fourth one is optional. If you are doing more than this with our things, you are using too much of them.

  1. Cleanser on a warm cloth, morning and evening.
  2. Three drops of oil while the skin is still damp.
  3. Balm on the two dry patches you already know about.
  4. Nothing else until tomorrow.
What we will not tell you

Before you order

Batches
Sixty at a time, poured on a Tuesday. The date on the jar is the day it was poured, not the day it was packed, which is a different thing.
Shelf life
A year unopened, six months after. There is no preservative in the balm and the oil, so keep them out of the bathroom window.
Postage
£3.60, or free over £40, posted on Thursdays. One person packs them, and that person has a day job on Wednesdays.
If it does not suit you
Send it back opened, within sixty days, and we refund it. About one in thirty comes back and we would rather know why than keep the money.
Samples
Two free with any order, chosen by us. We will not send a sample box on its own; it costs more to post than it does to make.
What we will not say
That any of this is clinical, medical or anti-ageing. If your skin hurts, see a doctor rather than buy a balm from two people above a shop.
