Pass

The rota for a kitchen of four to twelve

The chef drags names onto the week. Everyone gets it on their phone. Cooks swap shifts with each other, and nobody rings the chef on their day off.

How it works

1

The chef builds the week on a laptop or a phone, by dragging names onto shifts. Last week is copied in to start from.

2

Everyone gets a text with their shifts, and a link to the whole week. No app to install.

3

Cooks swap between themselves. The chef sees the swap and can say no, but doesn't have to do anything.

4

Hours add up on their own, ready to send to whoever does the wages.

What the chef sets up

Names, phone numbers and the shifts you run. Twenty minutes, once.

What the cooks see

Their own shifts, the week, and a button to offer a shift to someone else. Nothing about anyone's pay.

How it ends

One button. You get every rota and every hour as a spreadsheet, and the phone numbers are deleted.
