A handwritten letter beginning 'Dear' on lined brown paper, a pen resting across it.

Legal documents at a fixed price, and a solicitor reads every one

Answer the questions at home, in your own words. A solicitor checks every answer, rings you if anything looks wrong, and drafts the document properly. The price on the page is the price you pay.

A shop price, a solicitor's care.

Most people do not need an hour in an office to write a simple will. They do need someone qualified to notice the one thing that makes theirs not simple — a business, a second family, a house abroad. That is what our solicitors look for in every set of answers, and it is why each one is read by a person, not a program.

Before you order

When a fixed price is the wrong choice

A family business, a farm, a trust, someone who might contest the will. Then you need a solicitor's time, not a form.

If our solicitor thinks so

They ring you, explain why, and refund you in full the same day. No charge for the reading.

Signing it properly

Every document arrives with a one-page sheet on who signs where, in front of whom. Most home-made wills fail here.

Changing it later

Small changes within a year are free. After that, a codicil is £60.
