Wedding day coordination

You planned it. We run it. You get to be there.

We take over six weeks before the wedding and run the whole day, from the first delivery to the last taxi, so you and your families can be guests at your own wedding.

On the day

Every supplier, one timeline

We write the running order, send it to everyone, and stand at the door with it from 8 am until the last guest leaves.

What we handle

From the morning deliveries to the last song, we look after the parts that otherwise fall to your mum, your best friend or you.

  • A bouquet of pink and white flowers tied to a wooden ceremony arch draped with cream fabric.

    Set-up

Flowers, signs, chairs and the arch, placed to the plan and checked twice.

  • Two ornate chairs on a small stage under an arch of white blossom, set for a ceremony.

    Ceremony

Readers, rings and music cues ready, and the aisle walked on time.

  • A place setting with white plates, a handwritten name card and eucalyptus leaves.

    Dinner

Place cards, speeches and the kitchen's timings, all in one order.

  • A bride dancing with her arm raised among guests on a crowded dance floor.

    The evening

First dance, band changeovers, the late food and the taxis at midnight.

A gravel path lined with white hydrangeas leading to rows of chairs on a lawn.
How it works

Three simple steps to the day

  1. 01

    The handover

Six weeks out, we sit with you for two hours and take every contract, idea and worry off your hands.

  2. 02

    The running order

We call every supplier, visit the venue and write a minute-by-minute plan that you approve.

  3. 03

    The day

Two of us on site from first delivery to last guest. You only hear from us if you want to.

Couples

What our couples say

  • Two hands held together, an engagement ring on one finger.

"The rain came at four. By five past, the drinks had moved inside and nobody had asked us a thing."

    Amara & Joe

  • A loose bouquet of dried grasses and pale flowers held low against a white dress.

"We spent a year planning and one day actually enjoying it. Hannah made sure it was the right way round."

    Sophie & Ellen

  • Guests dancing and cheering around a couple at a lively evening party.

"My mother danced all night instead of counting chairs. That was the whole point."

Before you book us

  1. Check the date with us first. We take one wedding a day and about thirty a year.
  2. Have the venue booked. We work with whatever venue you love, but we need to know where.
  3. Keep your own suppliers. We do not take commission and we do not swap anyone out.
  4. Expect a deposit of £300 to hold the date, the rest six weeks before.

Questions

Everything you need to know

A long table laid with white linen, glasses, flowers and rows of lit candles.
Do you plan the whole wedding?

No, and on purpose. You plan it your way; we make sure it happens that way on the day.

What if something goes wrong?

Something always does. We carry a kit with everything from safety pins to a spare tie, and we solve it before you hear about it.

Can we book you for a small wedding?

Yes. Essentials works well for weddings of thirty to sixty guests.

Do you travel?

Anywhere in Yorkshire. Further afield we charge travel and, if needed, a night's stay.
