A gloved hand holding a tattoo machine close to skin, drawing a fine outline.
An arm covered in fine black line work being tattooed with a blue-gripped machine.

A fresh take on small tattoos

We are Mira and Jonah. We do fine lines, small script, botanical work and single-needle shading, and nothing that needs a whole back. Every tattoo starts as a drawing on paper that you take home for a week before you decide.

What to expect

Close view of a black-gloved hand tattooing a detailed design on a forearm.

Botanical

Stems, leaves, a single flower drawn from life. From £120, half a day at most.

Book

A tattoo artist in blue gloves bent over a client's colourful arm, concentrating.
A smiling tattoo artist in a beanie working under a ring light on a client's hand.
Mira — script, botanical, anything with a stem
A masked tattoo artist in white gloves tattooing a small design on a forearm.
Jonah — single needle, fine shading, tiny portraits

Before your appointment

The day before

No alcohol for 24 hours, a proper night's sleep, and no sunburn on the spot we are tattooing. If you are ill, move the date; the deposit moves with you.

On the day

Eat a real meal an hour before. Wear something that leaves the spot free without undressing. Bring one friend at most — the room is small.

Afterwards

Film stays on for three days. Then wash, pat dry, thin layer of balm, twice a day for two weeks. No swimming, no sunbed, no picking.

A forearm with lettered tattoos lit in warm orange light. An arm covered in traditional tattoos against a brick wall. A busy tattoo studio with framed flash on the walls and three people at work. Close view of a line-work sleeve being filled in with a tattoo machine.
