Walk-ins from 09:00, and the last chair goes at half past five.

A barber cutting the back of a client's head with clippers.

45 min · €34

Dry cut

You come in with clean hair and you leave twenty minutes sooner. Most people who come every six weeks end up here.

Clippers shaping the side of a client's head.

30 min · €26

Clipper cut

One length or a fade, finished at the neck with a razor. Under sixteen and over seventy it is €21.

A stylist working with comb and scissors at the chair.

60 min · €45

Wash, cut, finish

The long one. Washed at the basin, cut wet, dried and set, and we tell you what it will do on day four.

A barber checking a cut in the mirror.

15 min · free

Fringe trim

Between appointments, on the half hour, no booking. If you are not our client yet it is €9.

Three things we actually use

Ask at the desk
An amber glass bottle with a pipette, in low sunlight.

Finishing oil, 50 ml

€18 · lasts about four months

A straight razor and a shaving brush on a plain surface.

Razor and brush

€64 · we strop it for you, free, forever

Bars of handmade soap laid out beside dried lavender.

Solid shampoo

€9 · made four streets away

Long hair coloured in bands of pink, blue and yellow.

3 hrs · from €135

Full colour

Priced from, not at. We weigh what goes on your head and the desk adds it up in front of you.

A curling iron shaping a length of brown hair.

90 min · €72

Roots

Every six to eight weeks. Book the next one before you leave, because this is the slot that is always gone.

A stylist blow-drying a client's hair with a round brush.

45 min · €38

Gloss

No lift, no line, just tone. The one to ask for when you like your colour but not its mood.

A client with long hair seen from behind against a plain wall.

20 min · free

Strand test

Before any first colour, on a separate day, so nobody has to guess. We keep the result on file.

The shop in the evening with one chair still lit.

The one thing we would tell you

Come in with the hair you actually have, not the hair you washed for us

What that changes
Scissors, comb and clippers laid out on a work cloth.

10 min · free

Neck and edges

Between cuts, for anyone who sat in our chair in the last eight weeks. Walk in and wait for a gap.

A hot towel shave in progress, in black and white.

40 min · €32

Hot towel shave

Two towels, one pass with the grain and one across it. Not on a face that shaved this morning.

A client leaning back in the chair before a shave.

25 min · €22

Beard shape

Trimmed, lined and oiled. Free with a clipper cut if you ask for it when you book, not in the chair.

A barber marking a line at the back of a client's head.

75 min · €58

Treatment and cut

For hair that has been coloured for years. Twenty minutes of it is just sitting still under a towel.

The chair by the window

Is kept free until eleven for anyone who could not plan ahead

How walk-ins work
An empty barber chair beside a tiled floor.

Before you book

How to get a slot
By phone, between nine and half past five. We do not take bookings by message, because half of them arrive while both of us have our hands in someone's hair.
If you are late
Up to ten minutes we will still fit you in, shorter. After that we have to move you, and the next free chair is usually two weeks out.
If you cancel
A day ahead costs nothing. On the day it is half, and for a colour it is half of a long slot, which is why we ask you to be honest about the morning.
Paying
Card or cash at the desk. Prices on this page include tax and there is no surcharge for a Saturday; we would rather you came on a Tuesday, but we will not price you into it.
Children
From four, in their own chair, never on a lap. Bring the thing that keeps them still and we will work around it.
What we will say no to
A colour we do not think will hold, on hair we have not tested. We will tell you why and what we would do instead, and you can take that advice elsewhere.
