Single-needle work only: script, small botanicals, a line from a letter. I draw everything by hand first and I will tell you honestly if something is too small to last.

About me

I trained as an illustrator and drew botanical plates for a museum for six years before I picked up a machine. I still draw the way I did then: slowly, in pencil first, and with a lot of white space.

Fine line is honest work. The lines are thin, so they soften over the years. I design for that from the start, which is why I sometimes ask you to go a little bigger.

Before your appointment

How small is too small

Letters under 2 cm blur together within a few years. I will show you healed photos of the same size before we start.

A tiny fine-line tattoo of two figures holding hands on the back of an arm.

On the day

Eat something, wear a top that shows the place, and leave the aspirin. Most fine-line pieces take under an hour.

Two weeks after

Thin cream twice a day, no sun, no swimming. Fine line heals fast; it can look faint for a week, then it settles.
