Rewires, fuse boxes, sockets, outside lights and car chargers. A fixed quote before we start and a one-hour arrival window, not "sometime Tuesday".

What we do most

A new consumer unit with neat rows of circuit breakers and coloured wires.

Fuse boxes

Rewires

Most houses built before 1990 still have the fuse box they were built with. Replacing it takes a day. A full rewire of a three-bedroom house takes us a week, and we put the floorboards back.

New fuse box, fitted and certified£620

Extra double socket£95

Outside light with sensor£140

Car charger, supplied and fitted£980

Full rewire, three bedroomsfrom £5,400

Safety check and report£160

How a visit works

We quote in writing, we arrive in the hour we said, and we tidy up before we invoice.

No call-out fee inside the ring road. Outside it, £25, which we take off the job if you go ahead.

Before we come

Find the fuse box

Usually under the stairs or by the front door. Clear a metre in front of it — coats, hoovers, the cat.

The power will go off

For a new fuse box, about four hours. We tell you when, and we leave the fridge till last.

What you get at the end

A certificate for every job, emailed that evening. Keep it; you will need it when you sell the house.

Both of us are registered and insured. The numbers are on every quote.

A fixed quote in two days

Send photographs of the fuse box and the job, and a time we can ring you back. That is usually enough.
