About

I write for webshops with one to five people: product descriptions, About pages, and the email that goes out when somebody leaves a basket. I visit the shop or call the owner first, every time, and keep a case file of how they talk.

What I do

01. Listening

A visit or an hour's call. I record how you describe your products to a customer, because that is the voice your shop should have.

02. Product pages

Every description short enough to read on a phone, with the one detail that makes somebody buy.

03. About pages

Who you are, why you started, and why it matters to the person reading, in under 300 words.

04. Emails

The welcome, the basket reminder, the monthly letter. Written once, used for years.

Where a shopkeeper's voice meets the page

Small shops win because they are people, not brands. My job is to make sure the website sounds like you on a good day.

Send me your best sellers

Your top ten products and the three questions customers always ask about them. That is where we start.

A shop front crowded with potted plants under a painted portrait.

Give me an hour

One conversation, recorded, about your shop. I do the rest; you only read the drafts.

Know the price
